CAS dismisses Alexandros Jakupovic appeal against lifetime ban from tennis
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed an appeal by Greek tennis player Alexandros Jakupovic against a lifetime ban from the sport, imposed in December 2015.
In addition to upholding the original sanction in full, CAS also imposed costs of CHF 5,000 (Swiss Francs) against Mr Jakupovic, as a contribution to arbitration costs incurred by the TIU.
